Build starting for Crick 2018

21st February 2018

Crick 2018 shell

Crick 2018 is nearly upon us and as the excitement builds throughout the industry we have begun work on the new boat that we will be showcasing this year. The design process has been completed and after a few customer amendments and updates to the specification and design drawings she is now in build. The boat we will be taking is a 70ft x 12ft Kingsley with rear cabin and a few other special features that will make her stand out from the rest. She is currently in build and in the steel workshop at the factory and the shell is nearing completion!

We are hoping to follow in last years footsteps and continue our winning streak with another win giving us the title ‘Favourite Widebeam of the Show’. We are excited to finally get this boat under way after months of planning and preparations.

If anything, the customer is even more excited about their boat than we are and this was evident in their recent request for photos of the build describing themselves as being like ‘parents wanting a 12 week scan!’

We will be releasing more information about this boat as the build process progresses in the build up to Crick 2018. Watch this space for more details and photographs.
