The shell for the bespoke 65ft Westminster SE has now been completed and the interior has been several layer of sprayfoam insulation, in preparation for the interior fit out to commence. We pride ourselves on the quality and thickness of the sprayfoam applied to all our boats making them especially cosy in winter and cool in the summer months.
As you can see, the interior fit out is now well underway, with the cabin, hull sides and ceilings mostly lined whilst the woodwork and furniture for the galley and saloon are currently being built and fitted. One of the unique features of this boat is the customer’s desire for the interior to not be fitted in ‘traditional wood’ at all. As such, all of the paneling and wooden trims inside the boat have been given a painted finish in either white or a soft shade of grey. This will give the completed boat a very light and contemporary feel.
Painted panel interiors have been a popular choice for new build boats over the last few years but this is the first fully painted boat interior we have been commissioned to produce and it does look very handsome. We anticipate having a few more enquiries for this type of finish after the Crick show.
We are taking bookings for Crick 2018 and if you would like to view this boat then please get in touch and we can arrange a time – alternatively if you pop and see us at Crick we will do our best to get you on board.
